Photography Session Checklist

Are you as excited as we are about your photography session? We can’t wait! To help make everything run just a bit smoother, we have compiled this small checklist so you can make sure you are fully prepared for your session with us.

  1. A GREAT and ENTHUSIASTIC attitude!

  2. A bag or something that can hold your belongings - It’s always a good idea to bring something that you can carry stuff in or throw things into.

  3. Safety Pins - These are great to have just in case your wardrobe is malfunctioning.

  4. A Hairbrush, Hair Ties, and Hairspray - It’s always a good idea to have a plan B for your hair. Trust us, humidity and wind are not your friends! Especially if you’re having a beach session.

  5. Sunscreen - The sun can be brutal at times. Best to be safe.

  6. Bug spray - Mosquitos, biting gnats, and deer flies can be such an annoyance and unfortunately, are sometimes an uninvited friend at your session. It’s hard to focus when you’re swatting bugs away!

  7. Towels and a change of clothes - If you’re having a beach session and especially if you have little ones, bringing these along with you can’t hurt. *splashing in the waves is not required but totally welcomed.

  8. Wet Wipes - If you have kids (or even if you don’t) and you’re having your session outside these are a good thing to have handy for those dirty little fingers, toes, and faces.

  9. Folding Chairs - If you have any members of your group that may need to rest from time to time or would like to sit while they’re not being photographed, then you may want to consider bringing a chair along to your session.

  10. Bloomers - If you have little ones in dresses that are wearing diapers or are on the younger side we suggest making sure their undergarments are covered with either bloomers or shorts. This will be especially helpful for those holding and sitting shots.

  11. Balance Payment - Your balance is due by your session start time. Your session will not start until payment has been made. If we’re sending you an invoice please make sure to pay it before then. If you’re paying with cash, you can give it to us when we meet up for your session.

See you soon! Nikki and Neal
